Child Safety Standards

Khadayata is committed to the safety and protection of all users, especially minors. This page outlines our policies and standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

Our Zero-Tolerance Policy

Khadayata maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - images, videos, or any content depicting the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors
  • Grooming behaviour or any attempt to exploit or harm children
  • Content that sexualises, endangers, or exploits individuals under 18 years of age
  • Any communication that facilitates real-world harm to minors

Such content is strictly prohibited on our platform. Violations result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement authorities.

Age Restrictions and Access Controls

Khadayata is a community portal intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and above.

  • Registration requires users to confirm they are 18 years of age or older
  • Matrimony features are restricted to adults only
  • Accounts found to belong to minors are immediately suspended and the account data deleted
  • Profile verification processes are in place to deter misuse

Detection and Enforcement

Khadayata employs the following measures to detect and prevent CSAE on our platform:

  • All uploaded images are reviewed and subject to automated scanning for known CSAM using industry-standard hash-matching technology
  • User reports of inappropriate content are reviewed promptly by our moderation team
  • Accounts reported for CSAE-related activity are suspended immediately pending investigation
  • Confirmed CSAM is removed immediately and permanently, and the relevant content is reported to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate Indian authorities including the Cyber Crime Portal (cybercrime.gov.in)

How to Report Child Safety Concerns

If you encounter content or behaviour on Khadayata that you believe constitutes child sexual abuse or exploitation, please report it immediately:

  • In-app reporting: Use the “Report” option available on any profile, post, or message within the app
  • Email: Send a detailed report to info@khadayata.in with the subject line “Child Safety Report”
  • Cyber Crime Portal (India): cybercrime.gov.in - for reporting CSAM and child exploitation to Indian law enforcement
  • NCMEC CyberTipline: missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline - the global clearinghouse for CSAM reporting

All reports are treated with strict confidentiality. We will acknowledge receipt within 24 hours and take appropriate action.

Legal Compliance

Khadayata complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including:

  • The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO), India
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000 and its amendments, India
  • Google Play's child safety standards policy
  • NCMEC CyberTipline reporting obligations for CSAM

Any confirmed CSAM discovered on our platform is reported to the relevant national and regional authorities without delay, in accordance with our legal obligations.
